Karibu mama translates to ‘welcome mother’ in the Swahili language.
Bringing a baby into the breathing world is easy - taking care of yourself while taking care of the new baby is not. Nourishing food, supportive herbs, warming oils, restorative rest, replenishing drinks, a listening ear, an extra pair of hands and less worry is what I can offer during the first 40 days after birth.
The amount of days and hours you would like to have me support you can be discussed beforehand and prolonged if desired.
Let's schedule an online meet up where we can dive deeper into what your ideal support would look and feel like - no strings attached.
An after birth care day is also a beautiful experience to gift your friend, sister, daughter, colleague, the neighbour, you name them.
Because the baby won't remember who held them or which gift you brought. But the mother will forever remember who showed up and supported her after birth.
